The reason why multi-stage pump can transport liquid, mainly rely on high-speed rotating impeller, the liquid in the inertial centrifugal force to gain energy to improve pressure. Multistage pumps are driven with a large area piston low pressure gas (2-8 bar) to generate high pressure gas / liquid on a small area piston. Can be used for compressed air and other gases, the output pressure can be steplessly adjusted by the driving pressure. Multi-stage gas pipeline pump has a single role of the pump and double-acting pump. The double-acting pump piston compresses the gas in both strokes.
