The patent found that the fluorescence spectrum data of the crystals of ruthenium complexes with p-hydroxybenzoic acid and phenanthroline showed that these complexes could emit stable solid-state fluorescence and could be used as fluorescent materials in the field of materials science. A discovery undoubtedly provided an opportunity for the application of hydroxycinnamic acid in the field of fluorescent materials.
