Laminate flooring still dominates the production of various types of flooring at 22 million square meters, with a 10% increase in output. Solid wood flooring declined slightly due to shortage of raw materials, which was 44 million square meters, a decrease of 2%. Solid wood composite flooring is in rapid growth, and the output growth rate of various types of flooring is the strongest, with an annual output of 75 million square meters, an increase of 25%. Bamboo flooring production decreased significantly, with a production of 20 million square meters, a 20% drop, and other floor production of 2 million square meters.
In 2008, the statistics report of the Flooring Professional Committee of China Forest Products Industry Association showed that the sales volume of flooring manufacturers in China was about 344 million square meters, down 4.8% year-on-year. Among them, laminate flooring was about 198 million square meters, down 10.0% year-on-year; solid wood flooring was about 40,000 square meters, down 4.5% year-on-year; solid wood composite flooring was about 78 million square meters, up 4.0% year-on-year; bamboo flooring was about 24 million square meters. The year-on-year increase was 20%; the other floors were about 1.8 million square meters, down 10% year-on-year.

Among them, laminate flooring is about 21 million square meters, up 7.1% year-on-year; solid wood flooring is about 42 million square meters, which is the same as in 2008; solid wood composite flooring is about 83 million square meters, up 6.4% year-on-year; bamboo flooring is about 25 million square meters. The year-on-year growth was 4.2%; the other floors were about 2.2 million square meters, up 22.2% year-on-year.
In 2010, the statistics report of the Flooring Professional Committee of China Forest Products Industry Association showed that the sales volume of flooring manufacturers in China was about 399 million m2, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%. Among them, laminate flooring is about 238 million m2, up 12.3% year-on-year; solid wood flooring is about 43 million m2, up 2.4% year-on-year; solid wood composite flooring is about 89 million square meters, up 7.2% year-on-year; bamboo flooring is about 25.3 million square meters, up 1.2% year-on-year. The other floors were about 3.2 million m2, a year-on-year increase of 45%. Statistics show that the growth rate of laminate flooring and solid wood composite flooring is relatively fast, and it is still the leading product of China's wood flooring industry.
