Construction methods vary depending on the base layer. For concrete walls, the process involves preparing the base, repairing any imperfections, applying an alkali solution, coating a binder (like grape slurry), scraping white putty, and finishing with polishing and smoothing.

When working on concrete floors or screed surfaces, the same general steps apply—base preparation, alkali treatment, binder application, and then scraping and polishing the white putty. For cement mortar or paper ash surfaces, the process is slightly different, focusing more on the binder application before the putty is scraped on.

The construction process includes several key steps. First, the base must be properly treated. For cast-in-place concrete walls, surface irregularities such as honeycombs, cracks, or uneven areas need to be smoothed out. For prefabricated slabs, cleaning is essential to remove dust, dirt, and other debris. The surface should be dry and solid for cement mortar or paper ash layers.

Next, the base repair stage involves filling large defects like honeycombs with gypsum putty. The mix ratio is typically 100 parts gypsum to 5-6 parts emulsion and 60 parts cellulose solution. After that, two coats of a 5% caustic soda solution are applied, followed by rinsing and drying.

Then, a bonding agent (milk paste) is sprayed evenly before applying the white putty. The mixture usually consists of 60 parts white powder, 40 parts talcum powder, 75 parts cellulose solution, and 2-4 parts emulsion. The putty is then scraped onto the surface using a steel trowel, ensuring no debris gets mixed in.

After the first coat dries, the surface is inspected and any uneven areas are repaired. Once smooth, it's sanded and cleaned thoroughly. Finally, a second coat of white putty is applied to achieve a flat, even finish. This ensures not only a smooth surface but also a consistent texture, which is crucial for a professional-looking finish.
