Metal bellows is mainly used to compensate for the thermal deformation, shock absorption and absorption line deformation of pipelines. It is widely used in petrochemical, instrumentation, aerospace, chemical, electric power, cement, metallurgy and other industries. Other materials such as tanning materials have an irreplaceable role in media transportation, power threading, machine tools, and home appliances.

First, the choice of bellows material

Corrugated pipe material selection For the selection of corrugated pipe for heating pipe network, in addition to working medium, working temperature and external environment, the possibility of stress corrosion, the effect of water treatment agent and pipe cleaning agent on the material should also be considered. And on the basis of this, combined with the welding, forming of the bellows material and the cost performance of the material, an economical and practical bellows making material is preferred.

In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the bellows, the materials for the heat pipe network corrugated pipe are mostly 316 or 316L. These two materials are used for the heat pipe network and should be excellent materials for performance and price comparison. The material selected for the bellows should meet the following conditions:

(1) Good corrosion resistance, meeting the requirements of bellows working in different environments. Most manufacturers use austenitic stainless steel, such as material grades 0Cr18Ni9 (equivalent to 304), 00Cr19Ni10 (equivalent to 304L), 0Cr17NiMo2 (equivalent to 316), 00Cr17Ni4Mo2 (equivalent to 316L).

(2) High elastic limit, tensile strength and fatigue strength to ensure the normal operation of the bellows.

(3) Good welding performance, meeting the welding process requirements of the bellows in the manufacturing process.

(4) Good plasticity, easy processing of the bellows, and sufficient hardness and strength can be obtained by a subsequent treatment process (cold work hardening, heat treatment, etc.).

Translucent, the film is made of PU material, PVC material or other materials. The inner layer is smooth, semi-corrugated, retractable, static electricity, very light and soft, good wear and bending, and resistant to most chemicals.
