A highly accurate blade characteristic curve is then created.
In this method, the hub is directly completed using Pro/Toolkit, a secondary development tool, along with feature description techniques. The blade is formed by combining the characteristic curve with the front and back surfaces, and all blade surfaces are merged to create a closed surface. Finally, a solid shape is generated based on this closed curved surface.
The key advantages of this approach include leveraging the speed and flexibility of Pro/Toolkit, resulting in a highly applicable and precise modeling program. This system allows for the automatic 3D solid modeling of any form of axial flow impeller. An example of impeller solid modeling is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
