Abstract Fire door monitoring system is one of the fire automatic alarm system subsystems set in the building specified in "Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm System" (GB 50116-2013). This paper is based on the relevant specifications and atlas, from the design point of view and construction installation. The fire door monitoring system is introduced from the perspective. The correct design and installation of the system will play an important role in ensuring evacuation and ensuring property safety.

0 Preface

The building fire door is one of the main objects to keep the building fire separation intact. It has certain fire-proof and fire-resisting functions, and can control the fire within the predetermined range [1]. The fire doors on the evacuation passages are safe evacuation of personnel and firefighters carry out fire-fighting in the passage. In fires or other emergency situations, the fire doors can be quickly opened; but the fire and fire of the fire may also pass through the fire that is not completely closed. Doors break into evacuation passages or other fire zones, causing personnel to be evacuated or fire to other fire zones. However, after more buildings are put into use, the fire door is not opened or closed in the manner of design. In the event of a fire, the fire door cannot effectively block the smoke and fire. In order to ensure that the fire door plays its due role, the "Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm System" (GB 50116-2013) stipulates that a fire door monitoring system must be installed in the building. The correct design and installation of the system can guarantee fire prevention. The door plays an important role in blocking the fire during the fire and ensuring the safe evacuation of personnel. This article briefly introduces the design and installation of the fire door monitoring system.



1 Fire door monitoring system

The fire door monitoring system is a subsystem of the fire automatic alarm system, and its main function is to monitor the opening and closing and fault state of the fire door on the evacuation channel. The system is mainly composed of a fire door monitor, a fire door monitoring extension, a fire door monitoring module and a monitoring linkage device. The fire door monitoring linkage device includes an electric door closer, a manual button, an electromagnetic release device and a door magnetic switch, etc. [2] .
The fire door monitor can display the opening, closing and fault status of the fire door, control the opening and closing state of the fire door in the event of fire, and transmit the information of each fire door to the automatic fire alarm system host; the monitoring extension can expand the monitoring system The working range and scale; the monitoring module receives the signal of the monitor, controls the on-site monitoring linkage device, and collects the status information of the on-site monitoring linkage device and transmits it to the monitor; the electric door closer can change or maintain the opening and closing of the fire door State, and can feed back its status information to the fire door monitor; the electromagnetic release keeps the normally open fire door open, closes the fire door after receiving the signal, and feeds back its own status information to the monitor; The switch is used to monitor the opening and closing status of the fire door and feed back its status information to the fire door monitor [2].
The main components of the fire door monitoring system are shown in Figure 1.

The fire alarm signal of the automatic fire alarm system, and controls the electric door closer and release device; records the status information of the fire door connected thereto. The main power supply of the monitor and monitoring extension adopts 220V, 50Hz AC power supply. The power supply of the electric door closer, release and magnetic switch is DC 24V or 12V. It is equipped with a backup power supply. The backup power supply is sealed and maintenance-free. The battery capacity works normally and reliably for 3 hours when the monitor is in the working state and the fire door is opened and the required power is turned off [3].

The fire door monitoring extension is an extension of the fire door monitor, which can extend the power supply and communication distance of the fire door monitor, make the system power supply stable, and the communication is reliable. At the same time, it can expand the number of management fire door monitoring modules to form a more complete and stable. The monitoring network is smaller in size and easier to install than the monitor.
In the event of a fire, the opening and closing state of the fire door plays an important role in ensuring the timely evacuation and blocking of the fire. The fire door monitor and monitoring module should cooperate with other fire protection systems in the event of fire. Therefore, fire door monitoring The device is installed in the fire control room. If the building does not have a fire control room, the monitor should be located in a place where someone is on duty; the monitoring extension can be set in an electric shaft or floor distribution room; the setting of the fire door monitor should comply with the fire alarm. Controller installation setup requirements [4].


2 fire door monitor and monitoring extension

The fire door monitor is the heart of the fire door monitoring system. When the fire door system works, the signals of the fire alarm controller and the fire linkage controller are transmitted to the fire door monitor, and the fire door monitoring module and the monitoring linkage device are monitored by the fire door monitor; and the state signal of the fire monitoring module is transmitted to The fire door monitor transmits signals to the fire linkage controller and the fire control room graphic display device by the fire door monitor.

3 Fire door monitoring module and monitoring linkage

The fire door monitoring module is divided into a normally closed monitoring module and a normally open monitoring module. The normally closed monitoring module is in a normal state in a closed state, and the normally open monitoring module is in a normally open state as a normal state. When the state changes, the fire door monitor needs to be Make judgments and reactions. For single and double doors, the number of linkages connected is different. From an economic point of view, it can be divided into single-open type and double-open type.

The building fire code has the following requirements for the fire door: the opening, closing and fault status signals of the fire doors on the evacuation channel are fed back to the fire door monitor, which ensures that all fire doors are effectively controlled; the fire door has its own The closing function ensures that the fire door is completely closed after the evacuation, and the function is realized by the door closer; the double fire doors are closed in order to prevent the fire door from being tightly sealed due to the error of the closing sequence, and the function is ensured by using the sequencer. The normally open fire door should be able to close itself in case of fire and feedback signal [1], which is realized by the fire door monitoring system.

According to the requirements of the above specifications, the fire door monitoring linkage device is mainly installed in the following four forms at the fire door [5].

1) Single or double open normally closed fire door, the fire door is normally closed, and the magnetic switch remains in close contact. When the fire door is opened, the magnetic switch sends a signal to the fire door monitor through the monitoring module, indicating that the fire door is in an open state. When the door leaf cannot be completely closed, the door magnetic switch feeds back the fault state to the fire door monitor through the monitoring module. The magnetic switch must not break the airtightness of the door leaf and the door frame. Its installation and arrangement are shown in Figure 2~4.

2) Single or double open normally open fire door, set electromagnetic release device, mechanical door closer and magnetic switch, electromagnetic release device and magnetic switch are respectively connected with monitoring module, fire door is in normally open state, fire door monitoring system participates Linkage, the "and" logic alarm signal of two independent fire detectors in the fire zone where they are located or the "and" logic alarm signal of a fire detector and a manual fire alarm button as a trigger signal for fire linkage. After the fire alarm controller or the fire linkage controller confirms the signal, the fire door monitor activates the electromagnetic release device through the monitoring module, releases the chain, and the door leaf is closed under the action of the mechanical door closer, and the door magnetic switch is closed and monitored. The module feeds back the fire door closing signal to the fire door monitor. When the door leaf cannot be completely closed, the door magnetic switch feeds back the fault state to the fire monitor through the monitoring module, and the door magnetic switch must not break the sealing between the door leaf and the door frame. 3) Single or double open normally open fire door, which is equipped with electric door closer, the fire door is in the normally open state. After the fire occurs, the fire door monitor activates the electric door closer through the monitoring module, and the door leaf is in the electric door closer. The drive is closed and the shutdown signal is fed back to the fire door monitor through the monitoring module. The trigger signal of the fire door is the same as the trigger signal of the normally open door with the electromagnetic release. The installation height and position requirements of the manual control button are the same as those of the normally closed fire door that sets the electric door closer. When the door leaf cannot be completely closed, the door magnetic switch feeds back the fault state to the fire door monitor through the monitoring module. The magnetic switch must not break the seal between the door leaf and the door frame, as shown in Figure 8~10.

4 AFRD fire door monitoring system

The AFRD fire door monitoring system centrally controls the working status of each terminal device, namely the electric door closer and the electromagnetic release device, and displays the opening, closing and fault status of the fire door of the evacuation channel, and displays the fault signals such as open circuit and short circuit of the terminal device in real time. The system uses the fire two bus to connect the monitoring modules with communication functions. When the terminal equipment is short-circuited or disconnected, the fire door monitor can send out an alarm signal, can indicate the alarm part and save the alarm information, which guarantees the maximum protection.
