Due to the requirements of the Central Environmental Supervision Commission in July and August, some aluminum companies that do not meet the environmental protection requirements will need to complete the task of upgrading and upgrading the equipment in the second half of the year. The aluminum companies in the Gongyi District of Henan Province need to complete the transformation of “coal to gas” equipment by November 3rd.

Previously, the Central Environmental Protection Group was stationed in Gongyi City, Henan Province, which is a heavy metal processing base in Henan Province, and all gas companies that use the gas in Gongyi District need to be replaced with natural gas equipment. Most aluminum processing companies have stopped production for some time.

It was not only the aluminum companies in Gongyi District that were affected by the environmental protection measures. The five aluminum rod factories including Inner Mongolia Far East Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Tianshuo Aluminum Co., Ltd. were also carried out in July in the neighboring Inner Mongolia Huojun Hongjun Company. Production was suspended for rectification, and the 50,000-ton electrolytic aluminum production capacity planned by Huo Coal Hongjun to be put into production was temporarily suspended due to environmental issues.

In recent years, the domestic environmental protection efforts have been continuously increased. Under heavy blows, many companies have been severely punished. Among them, the most typical representative is that Luoyang Xiangjiang Wanji Aluminum Co., Ltd. was opened more than 96 million in a year and a half. Yuan's high price fine is equivalent to the company's three-year profit.

In July of this year, the first batch of central environmental protection inspection teams were stationed in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Henan, Guangxi, Yunnan, and Ningxia provinces, setting off a storm of environmental protection supervision at the local level. Some steel mills, mining sites, and smelters that have environmental problems are punished for rectification and even dismantling.

In addition, since 2014, the city of Foshan, the major city of the aluminum industry, has adopted “coal to gas” and other methods to carry out clean energy transformation of the aluminum industry to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. In particular, Foshan Sanshui District has taken the lead in Foshan to complete the aluminum industry reburning work and gained praise. In this regard, Foshan City Environmental Protection Bureau said that the aluminum industry will continue to implement the reburning work. By June 30, 2017, all aluminum extrusion companies in the city will complete the replacement of clean energy.

After the implementation of "coal to gas", the factory's black chimney disappeared, the factory building was bright and clean, there was no dust or odor in the workshop, and the workers also took off the masks they had worn for many years. The old ones used coal-fired fused products. Processing enterprises, through the "coal to gas" project, the aluminum processing industry has truly entered the era of coal-free.

Fenglu Aluminum Industry, which was once ranked first among the top 20 Chinese architectural aluminum extrusion companies, is a large enterprise specializing in research, development, production and sales of aluminum profiles. In order to achieve the environmental benefits of energy conservation and consumption reduction, Fenglu Aluminum started natural gas transformation from the beginning of 2013, and in May 2013, it completed the entire liquefied petroleum gas used in electrophoresis curing ovens and spray curing ovens in the plant area. For natural gas. After completing the laying of the natural gas pipeline network within the company, in 2014, it began to reconstruct natural gas from existing melting furnaces, homogeneous furnaces, aluminum rod heating furnaces, and aging furnaces. According to Lu Yanqing, director of the strategic planning department of Fenglu Aluminum, the company completed all reburning operations at the end of May 2015, with an overall investment of over 60 million yuan.

Lu Yanqing said that although the company's cost for producing a ton of aluminum profiles will increase by 10 yuan, the investment in the implementation of the "coal-to-gas" project will be relatively large. However, in the long run, natural gas is still available. The flame temperature of natural gas can reach more than 1300 degrees, which is far higher than that of burning coal. The firepower is also more concentrated and the production efficiency is greatly improved. With the same production capacity, labor is saved, and the cost of employing personnel is reduced accordingly.

After using natural gas, the environment in the plant area has been improved, and the harm to the employees' bodies has been avoided. After the “coal to gas” is automated, the labor intensity of the employees is also greatly reduced. Before the furnace is the most touching, before a shovel to shovel the coal to the furnace, often sweating, covered with coal ash, the day is quite embarrassed, and now everything has changed.

It is reported that at present, 33 aluminum profiles enterprises in Sanshui District of Foshan City have all completed the conversion of clean energy such as melting furnaces and rod furnaces. Among them, 28 companies have already realized the conversion of natural gas to the whole plant, one shuts down, and four have switched to liquefied petroleum gas or light diesel oil. The district has completed a total of 92 smelting furnaces and 343 rod furnaces to replace clean energy. Before June 30th, 2017, all aluminum enterprises in the city completed clean energy transformation.

It can be seen that under the impetus of the environmental protection department, the current aluminum industry towns in Henan Province, Gongyi City and Foshan City, Guangdong Province have all implemented the “coal-to-gas” comprehensive upgrade and transformation of aluminum processing enterprises.
