Precautions in the use of the transformer

The relationship between the door's opening degree and low ozone concentration in the atmosphere is a key factor contributing to rubber cracking. To simulate and enhance the ozone conditions found in the atmosphere, an ozone aging test chamber with a metal-wound gasket is often used. After purchasing an ozone transformer, it is crucial to promptly contact the power supply bureau for a handover test. Additionally, a moisture absorber should be installed immediately, especially for transformers rated at 100 kVA or higher. Moisture absorption is essential to prevent internal components from getting damp during transportation and storage. It is important to monitor the silica gel inside the moisture absorber and replace it as soon as it becomes saturated. The silica gel helps absorb moisture, protecting the transformer from damage. When the color of the silica gel changes, it indicates that it has absorbed too much moisture and needs to be replaced with a dry one. When ordering a transformer, efforts should be made to minimize the time before it is energized, as prolonged storage increases the risk of moisture ingress. The longer the storage period, the more severe the moisture problem can become. For smaller transformers (100 kVA and below), such as the 3051 pressure transmitter, a moisture absorber may not be included. However, the oil in the oil pillow can still become damp, leading to water contamination. If the transformer is not stored for more than six months or operated for over a year, the oil in the oil pillow may become severely wet. In case of line faults, it is necessary to determine whether the issue lies with the acquisition module or the differential pressure sensor. To check if the differential pressure transmitter is functioning correctly, use a multimeter to measure the output current, which should be within the range of 4mA to 20mA (or 0~5V if it's a voltage output). If there is no output, the transmitter may be damaged and requires replacement. If the on-site measurement matches the expected value, the field instrument or measuring point is likely fine, but the capacitive sensor module might be faulty and needs to be replaced. If the on-site measured value matches the computer display, the problem could be with the pressure tube or the differential pressure transmitter itself. During lifting, maintenance, refueling, or oil valve operations, the oil pillow should be carefully handled. The oil drain plug should be opened to release the oil, and the area should be wiped clean with a dry cloth before sealing it to prevent oil from entering the tank. During the operation of the transformer, regular monitoring of oil level, temperature, voltage, and current is essential. Any abnormal readings should be analyzed and addressed promptly. When installing the transformer, avoid using aluminum stranded wire or aluminum bars to connect with the copper conductor, as this can cause corrosion. Due to differences in installation and maintenance skills, some personnel may place the differential pressure transmitter near the device under test to save time and resources. However, this can lead to signal interference and attenuation due to long-distance transmission. To mitigate this, it is recommended to increase the cable cross-sectional area appropriately. When the computer display shows incorrect values, first check the junction box of the differential pressure transmitter to ensure the wiring is intact. Faults can be identified by checking the power supply, resistance, and insulation. Control cables are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, power and transportation departments, for AC voltages up to 450/750 volts. These cables typically have PVC insulation and sheathing, including types like mining rubber sleeves, flexible cables, UGF, MYP, marine cables, JHS waterproof cables, and others. Recently, flame-retardant control cables have been developed based on standard plastic-insulated cables and are well received by large users. The unit chain link consists of left and right chain plates and upper and lower cover plates. Each link can be opened and assembled without threading, allowing easy insertion of cables, tubes, air lines, and water pipes. This system includes engineering drag chains, machine chain plate chip conveyors, screw protection sleeves, catheter protection sleeves, rectangular metal hoses, organ rail guards, and dividers for space separation. The drag chain resembles a tank chain and is composed of multiple unit links that rotate freely. Within the same series, the inner height, outer height, and pitch are consistent, while the inner width and bending radius can vary. The pressure reducing valve uses a piston rod and valve stem at a 90° angle for transmission. A mini centrifuge moves the piston along the valve centerline via a guide rail, mainly used for stainless steel pressure reducing valves, nitrogen, oxygen, air, and other gas regulators. The adjustment characteristics of the pressure reducing valve depend on its internal structure. In modern industry, various pressure regulating valves, including self-operated, proportional, steam, and piston types, are commonly used. The ozone concentration in the atmosphere plays a major role in rubber aging. Ozone aging test chambers simulate these conditions to study the effects of ozone on rubber and evaluate anti-aging performance. Common testing equipment includes rain test boxes, mold test boxes, sand dust test boxes, drop test benches, high-low temperature impact chambers, and ozone aging chambers. PTFE gaskets are often used, and effective anti-aging measures are taken to extend the life of rubber products. Ozone concentration ranges from 40 to 1000 pphm, with a deviation of ±10%. Temperature ranges from 20°C to 45°C, with fluctuations of ±0.5°C and uniformity of ±2°C. Spark discharge erosion is used in EDM machines, where high-frequency pulses between a hollow copper electrode and the workpiece create small pulses for cutting and engraving. These machines are used for machining difficult materials like stainless steel, hardened steel, copper, and aluminum, with high-pressure water cooling to remove debris and improve efficiency.
