The diseased fruit is grayish white or gray, wrinkled and dull.
The disease should adopt the comprehensive measures of “choosing disease-free seeds or seed treatment combined with chemical agentsâ€:
1. Use disease-free seeds.
2. Seed treatment. If the seed is contaminated, seed treatment should be carried out. There are 3 common methods: disinfection with warm soup, pre-soaking with room temperature water for 2-3 hours before soaking, then placing the seeds at 55 °C for 15 minutes or 50 °C. 30 minutes, immediately after the specified time, move to cool water, cool, and then sow or germination.
