Recently, experts from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association organized experts to appraise the research results of the “Study on the Comprehensive Utilization of Alkaline Alumina Industrial Wastewater and Domestic Sewage†completed by China Aluminum Corporation of China Henan Branch in Zhengzhou. Experts at the meeting listened to the report of the research group, reviewed the appraisal materials and inspected the site. After serious discussion, the experts believed that the project mixed the alkaline industrial waste water produced in the alumina production process with domestic sewage and produced recycled water. The use of water quality requirements was successfully applied at the wastewater treatment plant of China Aluminum Henan Branch. The use of two different types of wastewater interaction, pollution treatment, comprehensive utilization, explored a new method of domestic sewage treatment.
