The trolley furnace is relatively easy to maintain during use. It is mainly used for the normalizing, quenching and annealing of mechanical components and parts. Although the operation is simple, it also requires careful learning to prevent unnecessary losses. The trolley furnace belongs to the cycle-type furnace and the furnace does not divide the area. The bottom of the trolley furnace is a movable trolley. Before heating, the trolley is loaded on the outside of the furnace and the heating element is placed on a dedicated horn. The traction mechanism then pulls the trolley into the furnace for heating. After heating, the trolley is pulled out of the furnace by a traction mechanism. Or use a crane to lift the heated workpiece onto the press equipment for processing. The operator must understand the following points: The structure and performance of the trolley furnace and its auxiliary equipment. Distribution system, control system layout and location of safety devices. Operating procedures and safety practices. Pre-operation preparation check: Check whether the power supply of the device is normal, whether there is a phase failure, a short circuit, or a bare wire. Check the contact of the grounding device connection is good. Check whether the heating element is damaged or not, and whether the contact at each connection is good or not, and whether it is in contact with the furnace body and the housing. Check if the temperature control system is abnormal. Check whether the furnace door is lifted or lowered and whether the trolley is operating normally. Workpieces with corrosive, volatile, and explosive gases are strictly prohibited from entering the body of the trolley furnace, so as not to affect the service life of the heating elements and refractories of the trolley furnace and cause explosions. The trolley heater must not be over-temperature operated, otherwise it will shorten the service life of the equipment. Too many workpieces in the trolley scale need to be removed before entering the furnace and can be brushed off with a wire brush. Workpieces are stacked evenly and should be around 100-150mm away from the heating element. Barbaric operation is strictly forbidden, and the workpiece should be gently placed to avoid impact. When the trolley furnace is used, the operator must not leave the post without authorization and must always pay attention to whether the working condition of the trolley furnace is normal. When the trolley furnace is loading and unloading the workpiece, the power of the heating element must be cut off to ensure the safety of the operator. The oxides of the trolley furnace (including the underside of the trolley wire) should be cleaned regularly, at least once a week or once every five furnaces. The floor under the trolley furnace can be blown with compressed air. If the resistance wire is used, it must not collide with it to avoid breaking. Trolley furnace electric motors need to be checked regularly, add lubricating oil, etc., pay attention to the use of safety. Lubrication must always be checked at the drive bushing to prevent damage to the bush due to lack of oil. Check the use of heating elements regularly. After the trolley heating element is used for a short period of time, it must not collapse or collide. If it has not been severely corroded and broken, the same material as the trolley wire (or the trolley wire itself) may be used as the electrode, and the acetylene gas may be used for the heat welding. The electrode is made of a mixture of 50% white powder, if the heating element is seriously corroded. If it cannot be used, it should be replaced. Periodically verify the use of the instrumentation and thermocouples of the trolley heater to prevent the temperature measurement from being incorrect due to the error of the instrument and thermocouple and affect the product quality. The trolley furnace is the main furnace type of the heavy machinery industry and is responsible for the production of heating and heat treatment processes for large-scale castings and forgings. Some of the lower structures of domestic trolley cars have even three flue pipes. This kind of structure is based on a deep foundation and has a large brick body. The underground brickwork occupies about half of the whole brick brickwork. The trolley track is inevitably installed above the brick flue. In use, the temperature change in the flue, the trolley loaded with tens or hundreds of tons of workpieces reciprocates to sink the track, and some sink deformation amounts to 100 mm, which seriously affects the normal operation of the trolley and the production of the furnace. It is one of the common problems of this trolley furnace that it can not be solved fundamentally.
