China's first batch of 500 kV transformers were successfully trial-produced

The first batch of 18 500 kV ultra-large transformers exported by China for the first time has been successfully trial-produced recently. It is expected to be shipped to Sudan on March 22, which indicates that China's domestic large-scale power equipment has begun to go global.

It is reported that this batch of transformers was contracted by Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd. for the Su Dan Danowe dam power transmission and transformation project. It is a new product of China's independent research and development of 500 kV transformers, with independent intellectual property rights. According to the contract signed by the two parties, the Mai Luowei dam power transmission and transformation project requires a total of 26 transformers, with a total amount of 165 million yuan.
