London reported on February 7th that it has met with senior officials from Global Alumina Corporation, BHP Billiton Ltd., Dubai Aluminium Company and Mubadala Development Company. Since then, significant progress has been made in the negotiations on the formation of a joint venture company and it is expected that the relevant procedures will be completed on February 15. According to reports, the aforementioned companies negotiated to form a joint venture company to develop and operate the global alumina company's aluminum refinery project in Guinea. Global alumina company said on the 7th that the agreement will be submitted to all parties for final approval. Global Alumina is located in Toronto, Canada.
