Albras electrolytic aluminum plant in Brazil is undergoing expansion and reconstruction

Sao Paulo, October 26: In recent years, Albras electrolytic aluminum plant in Brazil has been increasing the current level of the electrolytic aluminum production line, and the production and number of processes for all electrolytic production lines are being adjusted. These operations are at the electrolytic aluminum plant. The 960 electrolytic cells were performed simultaneously. There are four electrolysis production lines in the Al Rabs Electrolytic Aluminium Plant. Each production line has 240 electrolyzers, all of which are pre-baked cells. All of them were APB electrolyzers from the original French Pschneider electrolytic aluminum technology. Since it was put into production in 1985, it has achieved great development in operation. In July 2003, the currents of the second, third and fourth electrolysis production lines were 173 kA, and the current index was to reach 180 kA. First, 180 kA was applied to 10 electrolysis cells in the third electrolysis production line, and possible operational problems were investigated. Then decided to increase the current in three steps and evaluate the entire process state. In 2004, all electrolysis production lines reached the target value of 180KA current, and the operation effect was good. Alabraz Electrolytic Aluminium has been increasing primary aluminum output by modernizing the production line.
