The general plastic mold consists of two parts: a movable mold and a fixed mold. Although the structure of the mold may vary depending on the type and performance of the plastic, the shape and structure of the plastic product, and the type of the injection machine, the basic structure is uniform. The mold is mainly composed of a gating system, a temperature control system, a molded part and a structural part. The gating system and the molded part are in direct contact with the plastic and vary with the plastic and the product. It is the most complicated and most varied part of the mold, and requires the highest degree of smoothness and precision.

In the process of mold injection molding, the gate sometimes sticks to the sprue bushing, and it is not easy to come out. Causes crack damage to the product during mold opening. The operator must use the tip of the copper rod to knock out from the nozzle to loosen the broken plastic before demoulding, which seriously affects the efficiency of production. The main reason for this failure is that the taper surface of the sprue sleeve has a poor finish, and there are sometimes knife marks in the circumferential direction of the inner hole. Secondly, if some of the injection molding materials are too soft, the small end of the taper hole of the mold will be deformed or damaged after a period of use. If the curvature of the nozzle of the sprue sleeve is too small, the gate feed will produce a rivet head here. The taper hole of the sprue bush is more difficult to process. Standard parts should be used as much as possible. If you need to process it yourself, you can also use your own or purchase a special reamer.

The guide post mainly plays a role of fixing and guiding in the mold to ensure that the core and cavity forming parts of the mold do not collide with each other under any circumstances, but the guide post must not be used as the force point or the positioning part of the mold. . For example, when the injection is moved, the fixed mold will produce a large lateral offset force: when the wall thickness of the plastic part is not uniform, the flow rate through the thick wall is large, and a large pressure is generated here; if the side of the plastic part is In the case of asymmetry, such as a mold with a stepped profile, the opposing back pressures on both sides of the mold are not equal.

The level of mold production technology has become one of the important indicators to measure the level of product manufacturing in a country, because the mold determines the quality, efficiency and development ability of new products to a large extent. China's mold industry has been very active in recent years. The overseas export market is an indispensable part of the development of China's mold industry. It is reported that Hong Kong still has the largest share of China's export market distribution, followed by Japan and the United States. The sum of the three is nearly half of China's total mold exports, but China's export of mold products are mostly low-end products. In the high-end market of developed countries in Europe and America, the share of Chinese products is still very low. Therefore, China's mold industry should actively improve product quality to further increase the market share of mold products in overseas markets, thereby further promoting their own development.

Therefore, China's mold products want to enter the international market in depth, and continue to open up new sales areas, but also need Chinese mold manufacturers to work hard on the quality of molds.
