Policies support natural gas distributed energy

The prospects for distributed energy resources are bright Recently, Yang Lei, Director of the Oil and Gas Division of the National Energy Administration's Oil and Gas Division, told the “2011 Seminar for Combined Technology of Cooling, Heating, and Power Supply in Beijing”: “Since April 2010, the National Energy Administration released “Development of Natural Gas Distributed Energy After the Guidance Consultation Request Letter, the “Guidelines for the Development of Distributed Natural Gas Resources” were drafted. At present, the two documents are in the approval stage.”

Distributed energy is a kind of energy utilization method that achieves energy utilization according to the energy level of energy, and can greatly increase the efficiency of energy use. Because of the advantages of distributed energy, we believe that the large-scale development of distributed energy can be expected, and the current contents of Yang Lei, Director of the Oil and Gas Division of the National Energy Administration, is precisely the policy support for the development of distributed energy. It also provided strong guarantee for the installed capacity of 50 million KW of gas turbines in the next ten years, which will benefit related listed companies.

It is expected that the development of policies to support rapid development of distributed energy will be based on the energy level of energy and can greatly increase the efficiency of energy use. Distributed energy has developed very rapidly abroad in recent years. At present, the proportion of distributed energy in the power generation installations in the EU has reached 10%. However, the development of distributed energy in China is still at its infancy and currently accounts for less than 1% of the total installed capacity of power generation. We believe that its large-scale development can be expected. According to reports, the "Distributed Power Generation Management Measures" formulated by the National Energy Administration has now entered the solicitation stage, which will be introduced as soon as possible around July. The “12th Five-Year Plan for Cogeneration of Heat and Power and Distributed Energy Planning” compiled by CEC has now completed the first draft. It can be expected that the future of distributed energy will be strongly supported by national policies and the development is expected to accelerate substantially.
