Alcoa and Indian Science and Industry Research Council Enter into Partnership

On Tuesday, Alcoa stated that the company has reached a research cooperation relationship with the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Alcoa will work with the Indian Science and Industry Research Council to develop nanotechnology and biotechnology, turn waste into treasure, reprocess waste into useful products, and plan to develop packaging reform and multi-material engineering solutions. Alcoa did not provide details of the agreement, but the company said that Alcoa and the Indian Council for Scientific and Industrial Research will each form an advisory group of four people.
