The results of the hot-rolling mill speed-reducing thinning test of China Vanke Alcoa Aluminium Factory have achieved initial results

Recently, the good news came from the Hot Rolling Plant of Zhongyue Wanji: the rolling time of each ingot was shortened by 7 minutes, the thickness of the finished product reached 3.9mm, the finishing temperature was maintained at about 380°C, and the shape and surface quality of the ingot were fully occupied by technical personnel. After the appraisal, it was well reflected that the rolling speed was as high as 180m/min and the roll diameter was 1690mm. This marks the phased results of the speed-reducing thinning test of the 2400mm hot rolling mill of China Color Wanji. The minimum rolling thickness of the medium-sized Wanji 2400mm hot rolling mill is 3.5mm. Since the rolling mill was put into trial production in March 2005, the minimum outlet thickness of the 1, 3, 5, and 8 series alloys produced has generally remained around 7.0mm. In order to further develop the potential of the hot rolling mill, the production capacity of the hot and cold rolling mills of the plant is balanced, and at the same time, in order to meet the increasing market demand for thin gauge hot-rolled commercial materials, the market competitiveness of the hot rolled products of Henan Aluminum is enhanced. In accordance with the company's deployment, China Evergreen Aluminium Processing Plant separately organized the first phase of the 2400mm hot rolling mill production of 5052 alloy thin billets on March 28th; the second phase of the test was conducted on April 22nd. Then on December 9th, after careful planning and careful deployment, the third phase of speed-up and thinning tests was conducted, completing a new round of data collection and collation. The whole trial process was orderly. Leaders of China Vanke Group, such as Nie Xiaoge, Sun Dehua, Zou Kai, Gao Zuowen, etc., came to the scene and gave their support to the trial production. The speed increase and thinning test is mainly to verify the effect of equipment modification and process improvement after the first two phases are completed on the plate shape and finish rolling temperature, so as to prepare for further curing process. This experiment confirmed the "five indicators": the thickness is guaranteed at about 5.0mm, the final rolling temperature is greater than 320°C, the speed is steadily increased, the plate shape and surface quality are good, and the roll diameter reaches 1700mm. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the trial, various related departments have done a lot of preliminary preparations. The main leaders of the equipment, technology, quality assurance, and general workshops, as well as the director of the hot rolling workshop, Li Guojun, organized technical staff and production workers to hold special meetings. Discuss equipment modification programs and rolling methods. In addition, a lot of work has been done to transform the process lubrication system of the hot rolling mill. Specifically, the position of the nozzle beam is adjusted and the emulsion injection pressure is adjusted to meet the need for speed reduction and thinning. The technical department and the hot rolling workshop jointly developed a test program, an emergency plan, high-speed rolling essentials and equipment check points, and organized small-scale, small-scale phase tests. At the closing meeting, the factory technology department reported the test situation.
