YKK AP plans to expand capacity of Dublin aluminum extrusion plant

On Thursday, Japan’s YKK AP announced that the company plans to invest US$28 million in Georgia, raising its aluminum extrusion capacity at its Dublin plant by 3,000 tons and increasing its fluorocarbon polymer coating line. The company plans to increase the output of extruded products by 1,000 tons and the coating production capacity by 275 tons. The company stated that the expansion work will begin in March 2007 and be put into production in July 2008.
