In recent days, the planning and construction of the total scale of 200,000 tons of high-precision aluminum plate with foil, with a total investment of about 4 billion yuan in China Aluminum Aluminum Northwest processing base laid the foundation.
It is reported that the project includes aluminum strip projects and aluminum foil projects and plans to build in both places. The aluminum strip project was built in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It plans to add 1 hot-rolling mill and 2 cold-rolling mills. The cast slabs produced directly from electrolytic aluminum liquid will produce the high-precision aluminum strip products currently needed in the domestic market. The leading products are Aluminum foil blanks, PS plates and other high value-added products.
The aluminum foil project is planned to be built in Qianxi County, Gansu Province. It plans to add 6 aluminum foil rolling mills and other auxiliary production equipment. It will form an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of aluminum foil. It is the largest aluminum foil production line for domestic one-time investment construction. After the project is completed, it is estimated that annual sales income will be 1.4 billion yuan, and profits and taxes will be nearly 200 million yuan. The Northwest Aluminum Processing Base is one of the four major aluminum processing bases that Chinalco has deployed in the country.
